Welcome, Prospective Briarwood Families!

We know that finding the right school for your child can be overwhelming, so first, I want to thank you for your interest in The Briarwood School. We want to provide you with a positive experience learning about us and support you in your school decision. Together, we prioritize our core values of building community through connections and transforming lives through confidence.

The Briarwood School’s mission is to empower students with diagnosed learning differences to reach their maximum potential through diagnostic-prescriptive instruction in a structured academic environment. The primary learning differences we serve are dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia, and commonly have a coexisting condition of ADHD.

Our families chose us for our focus on academic remediation within a traditional school environment – A traditional school that teaches in untraditional ways. We offer small classes, athletics and fine arts programs, various clubs, special rotations, and after-school care. Our teachers are trained in the science of reading and math, multisensory approach to learning, social pragmatics, and content-specific instruction.

We look forward to meeting your family and supporting you in your next steps to a successful journey. The first step and the best way to learn more about us is to take a tour. We invite you to schedule a tour and learn more about The Briarwood Way!

We hope you will take advantage of our school tours and admissions process on our website. Thank you for your interest, and we look forward to meeting you soon!

Together in connection and thriving through confidence,
