The council convenes every two weeks to organize various events like the Talent Show and Halloween Social. Additionally, each council member is required to participate in at least two hours of community service during the academic year.
Middle And Upper School

Student Council

At The Briarwood School, the Middle/Upper Student Council has a crucial role to play. The council aims to develop responsible and proactive students who are active members of the community. It teaches them how to raise funds for school-wide projects, share ideas for school activities and provide feedback on their interests and concerns to the teachers and administration. Additionally, the council helps with community service projects.

Clubs

We offer a variety of student clubs throughout the school year. Each year, students get the chance to select clubs that match their interests, creating a dynamic environment for them to explore and gain new knowledge and skills. This year, our students are participating in a range of clubs such as Anime, Book, Car and Driver, Chess, Crafting, Creative Writing, Debate, Gaming (for both middle school and upper school), Horticulture/Animal, Investment, LEGO, Music, Photography, Poetry, Sports (for both middle school and upper school), and Yoga.

The student editors make sure that the production schedule is followed and all deadlines are met. The yearbook students acquire the skills required to create a high-quality yearbook that captures the essence of the school year for all students and patrons of The Briarwood School. Every year I’m amazed at what our students are able to accomplish. Yearbook is a very non-traditional class where senior students are tasked with managing the staff and making sure that the book is finished on time. It’s inspiring to witness the teamwork and dedication that yearbook students develop and the pride they have in producing an amazing product.”
