Our program is designed for students who have:
- Average to above average intellectual abilities
- A diagnosed learning difference/disability
- No primary social, emotional or behavioral issues
Briarwood offers direct interventions for students with learning differences/disabilities such as: dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, non-verbal learning disorders, speech/language disorders, written and expressive language disorders. Additional diagnoses addressed through accommodations include attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder and processing disorders as they relate to academic issues.
We are not a therapeutic school and do not provide programs for social, emotional or behavioral diagnoses.
