he Lower School includes children with diagnosed learning differences, kindergarten through grade 6. Classes are typically comprised of 8-10 students, grouped by age and academic ability. Teaching techniques are constantly monitored and adapted to find the most effective approach to each child's individual learning style and pace. The self-esteem of each student is nurtured and encouraged in both individual and group situations.
With renewed self confidence, the Briarwood student takes on increasingly challenging tasks. A structured, academic environment and well-trained staff are elements which make success a reality.
