Student Council Link Crew

The Student Council Link Crew is comprised of students in grades 7 – 12 who have been elected to represent and serve the student body. Student Council Link Crew members work diligently to plan exciting events for the student body while actively participating in community service activities and promoting character values throughout the school.

During the school year, the Student Council Link Crew sponsor community service events such as:

  • Service project to benefit the animals at ‘CAP’ (Citizens for Animal Protection)
  • ‘Just Run for a Just Cause’
  • ‘Race for the Cure’
  • Caroling & Christmas cookies at the Sunshine Nursing Home
  • Service day at Brookwood
  • Can drive benefiting ‘WHAM’ (West Houston Assistance Ministry)
  • ‘Stroll for Epilepsy’
  • Great Kindness Challenge
  • Teacher Appreciation Day
  • Penny Wars to benefit the ‘Gulf Coast Sentinels of Freedom’
  • Community service day at ‘Books Between Kids’
  • Talent Show – all proceeds benefit ‘Stroll for Epilepsy’

The Student Council Link Crew members choose the character values they wish to focus on during the school year. The values chosen for the 2015-16 school year are:
